Carbon is actually just pure carbon – just as it is the basis of diamonds. A noble, hard-wearing but also resilient and lightweight material. Many advantages, paired with the disadvantage of very complex and tool-intensive processing. Pure diamond tools, PKD milling cutters, are preferably required for this process. If left in its natural state, not coated or painted, carbon has a wonderful shine. If it is elaborately processed unidirectionally, it allows the light to pass over it – creating an extraordinary vibrancy.
